Our 24th annual Community Picnic & Silent Auction is coming up on Friday, June 12th.

Date/Time: Friday, June 12 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm

Meal Tickets and Wristbands: On sale now and on the day of.

  • Purchase tickets at the centre desk or online here,  under the Picnic Tickets tab.
    • Tickets purchased online can be picked up from the front desk.
  • Wristbands are for children aged 3+ and give them access to the prize games and bouncy castles.

50/50 Tickets: You could be the lucky one to take home half the prize!  You can buy tickets here!

Please share the link with friends and family across BC, you do not have to be on site to win!

Pitch Burst – Sponsored by Richardson Sport Inc.: Throw a ball, hit the target, and soak someone with a water balloon. We have some very awesome people lined up for you!

Silent Auction & Tiered Raffle: June 10, June 11 & June 12

Come check out what we have going on!

  • Silent Auction – we have awesome things for you to bid on! And the Community Art Project is back again this year: school classrooms, and various programs at the centre created beautiful art pieces and cards for the silent auction.  Proceeds from these art projects will go right back to the school and community centre for art supplies.
  • Tiered Raffle – 3 levels of raffle items. Buy tickets for your chance to win!
    • Gold Raffle – $10 for 1 ticket or $25 for 3 tickets
    • Silver Raffle – $5 for 1 ticket or $10 for 3 tickets

→ Visit jamesbaycentre.ca starting June 1st to purchase your tickets. They will be under the “Recreation Programs & Event Tickets” bubble.

I have something I want to donate to the Silent Auction/I want to sponsor the event, how can I do that?

I want to volunteer! Where do I sign up?

→ We love volunteers! Please follow this link to sign up for a volunteer slot. We have positions in food distribution, running games, recycling management, and more. If there is something you would like to volunteer for, but don’t see it on the list, or all the slots are full, email events@jamesbaycentre.ca and we will find a position for you! All our volunteers get a meal ticket and are entered for a chance to win a volunteer raffle prize.
